May 5: How Nigeria lost Umaru Musa Yar’adua 4 years ago...

President Musa yar'adua                                                    Today makes it exactly four years when Nigeria lost a great leader, a man of honor, vision and determined zeal for a better Nigeria; late President Umaru Musa Yar'adua.
Though short, Yar'adua's leadership tenure and legacy gave us assurance as a Nation that progress is possible in Nigeria if the nation's leadership is willing to be just, fair, transparent and uphold the rule of law thereby making life easy for the masses and build confidence in the people that elected them into position. This is the ideals, principle and believes of late President Yar'adua. Unfortunately, his death amidst several reforms had put a sudden stop to his reformation agenda.
As we remember this great leader, I urge all leaders and stakeholders in the Nigeria project to emulate and sustain the virtues of President Yar'adua
While it is good to remember the dead, but more importantly i call for a thoughtful and sober reflection from all levels of leadership of our Nation to put the interest of the masses at heart as we all owe them the allegiance of respect, love and service.
As we remember him today, I pray Almighty Allah continue to comfort the entire Yar'adua family, the people of Katsina and Nigerians at large.
